Governance

Orchard Dale Water District is a county water district formed under the County District Law, Division 12, Section 30000 et. seq. of the California Water Code.

Orchard Dale Water District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, the members of which are elected-at-large by registered voters within the District.  Each director serves a four-year term that is staggered between two directors and three directors and which commences in successive even-year elections.

The Board of Directors are responsible for establishing the strategic direction and policy of the District.  A General Manager is appointed by the Board of Directors and oversees the day-to-day management of the District.
